Looking for my future!
Honest, upbeat, caring - interested in national and international events - I like sports, especially baseball and hockey and now basketball - enjoy concerts, movies, theater. And, now that I'm able to do so, I want to travel - want to explore Italy, and a Greek friend speaks well of the treasures of the Greek Isles - so maybe that should be my first destination. I appreciate life and the good fortune to be financially independent - I don't need someone to support me - would envision sharing financial concerns. My life is busy and enriching, and indeed, I like to have time and space to myself, but at the end of the day, I find I want more - I'm looking for a friend, a companion, a lover - a gentle, loving man who shares like attributes who wants to share a life with me - then my world will be complete.

make certain that every child had access to good health care, a loving home environment, and a guaranteed education - K-12 and whatever technical school or college program he or she chooses - empowering a fully literate population will create the socio-econominc environment that will help overcome joblessness and homelessness.

What gets on your nerves?
people who prattle on about unimportant things - folks who get so absorbed in material things, they can't or won't see what the world is really about - other people!
What is the most important thing in a relationship?
Honesty, trust, mutual respect and caring
What turns you off?
Absorption with Self - tendency toward materialistic interests - short sightedness about people, places and things, and an inability to see the lone tree beyond the forest. I am that lone tree - I tend to think outside the box, and having worked as an analyst for most of my career, I tend to look for mitigations for problems. Result is that I get short tempered when people whine about situations without looking to see what can be done to effect change.
What turns you on?
Personality - confidence without conceit, a genial personality and a happy outlook on life
What do you hope to be doing five years from now?
Though I haven't truly defined it, my general plan is to find an agreeable, loving companion who wants to comingle our mutual worlds - to travel, hoping to spend our "twilight years" peacefully - content in togetherness.
