Being honest - Greek wife has dementia & is in a nursing home. There's no chance we'll ever reunite. I ensure she is cared for properly. I go there to sign for meds & to keep management & staff on their toes. Besides being honest, I'm: a good listener, assertive, caring, chivalrous, easy going, optimistic, patient, stable, trustworthy & try to not sweat the small stuff (except for health, it's all small stuff.) Originally from NYC, a Navy vet. & retired geologist. I've lived in several states, Puerto Rico & Greece. I speak fluent Spanish & some Greek. Traveled for work & pleasure. I donate & volunteer at a Greek Orthodox Church & other charities. I'm fiscally & physically fit (photos are recent.) I'm 75 but look & feel younger. I hike, swim, DIY, sail, woodwork, kayak & exercise. I can dance (& want to try Pickle Ball.) I'm a social drinker, but not if I'm driving. I drive a BEV & use solar panels. I like mammals (but eat meat.) I have lots of other likes & dislikes. The latter includes: Animal cruelty, cigarettes, drug abusers (420 is Ok), drunkards, enhanced body parts, extremists (left or right), fools, MAGAs, overly crowded venues & tattoos. Going to visit my kids out west (with pets.) Along the way, I'll stay at hotels with chargers, hike in several National Parks, plus other parks & places. My friends think I'm funny, smart, wise & handsome (as do I, but I'm biased.) There's much more, but I'll save it for when we meet. You can decide if my friends are right.
