I’m a warm, upbeat, introspective person who enjoys cozying up with a stack of books and a mug of coffee as much as spending the day hiking in a forest or dining at a great restaurant with family and friends. My background is in academia, writing, and teaching, but I also enjoy practicing acoustic guitar, attending church and Bible study, and traveling. In the new year I’m excited to begin volunteering at a tree research lab, and hoping to start section hiking the Appalachian trail this summer!
