Initial attraction is important but can never replace natural connection.
What is the purpose of marriage?
Marriage is a special spiritual and physical bond between man and woman gifted by God. Love, companionship, sacrifice and the additive strength marriage provides as opposed to individual strength- all provide a strong foundation and role model for many generations that follow in the Christian faith.

Letting go of negative emotions is absolutely necessary for healing, health and happiness.

Depends on maturity levels from both and are they in agreement with religion, finances, child rearing and family interactions- only then should the couple marry. Age can have a wide range.
