Joined 11 January to meet Greek people for friendships and possibly something more. Army-retired officer, current federal employee, rental property owner, and multilingual. I value stability, independence, and using hard-earned freedom to experience the world. Born in Germany with Greek roots, and I spent much of my childhood and young adult years in Greece, almost every summer for about six weeks, mostly between Katerini and Thessaloniki. Those years shaped my appreciation for family, culture, food, and slowing down enough to enjoy life properly. We’ll get along if you appreciate European roots (Greek by blood, German by upbringing), and somewhat the U.S. American way of life. I hope you enjoy great food, travel, and the finer things in life, but at the same time are grounded, humble, and grateful. I speak multiple languages and am currently improving my Spanish. I love skiing, exploring new places, and planning meaningful trips rather than rushing through them. Recent travels include Croatia, Athens, Rhodes, the Dominican Republic, Miami, Virginia Beach, Charleston (Isle of Palms & Tybee Island), plus plenty of local DMV exploring. This year I’m planning Florida, Germany, Barcelona, and likely Athens, Santorini, Naxos, Paros, and/or Milos. Meeting someone here who enjoys adventure, culture, and building something genuine, and maybe joining me along the way, would be an absolute blessing.
