Born in Elmhurst, New York, and raised by Greek foster parents, I’m an American with a healthy dose of Greek injected into me. I speak some Greek—understand more than I speak, lol—so I’m still working on that part. I spent many years seeing the world as a boat captain, traveling places most people only dream about. I retired from the sea in 2021 and now run my own transportation company. These days I split my time between Maryland and New York, but I’m still happiest when I’m traveling, discovering new places, enjoying good food, and meeting interesting people.
