Prince looking for that elusive slipper

How and what do you say about yourself and not sound like a resume. But here it goes. I love doing so many things, that I'm really never bored. I was drafted by the Dodgers as a pitcher back when I was 17, played and still play basketball, was a tournament tennis player and still love playing, I water ski, river rafting and really love many types of other activities. I love being near the water. Oh, and let's not forget traveling. I love to travel and see many different places. Life is short, let's just go for it. But I do like movies and the theatre, all types of music, dancing, cooking (not great but I like it). And I enjoy sometimes just doing nothing also. I have a Master's Degree in Busniness and am a tax consultant. I have two beautiful kids that are in their early 30's and are doing great in life. Laughing, joking around, and just having fun is important to me...as so is being serious at times. Passion, affection, respect, communication are also very important.

Insights
Describe the perfect evening.
A perfect evening or weekend pretty much depends on one's mood. One day it could be a walk along the beach with a full moon, another day it may be a good dinner and dancing, or a movie and popcorn Another day it may be I'm in the mood to cook and we can just hang at the house, joke and just be silly. Or take a little 3 day weekend cruise or other small getaway. Another weekend maybe it's just bike riding or just shopping. But the common thread to any perfect weekend or evening is being with that special someone you really enjoy being with. Then it really doesn't matter much what you do. I know, sounds like a cliche, but it's true.
How important is someone's physical appearance to you?
It plays a part. How important of a part, well that's a person by person thing. Part of that chemistry thing is physical. But then it all comes down to what's in the heart and the personality (oops, another cliché, but so true).
What is the most important lesson that you've learned?
To try your best to say what you mean and mean what you say
What do your friends like about you most?
My positive and fun outlook on life, and hopefully my jokes. Also my sincerity.
What do your friends tease you about the most?
My singing. It still doesn't stop me, but the teasing continues. I was recently on a cruise and did karaoeke. It was great...well, at least to me it was.
What gets on your nerves?
Well, all these guestions on this profile for starters...lol. Not too much actually gets to me. But one thing does stand out. Not following through with what you say you'll do.... If you say you'll do something, then do it. I like someone who keeps their word.
What is the most important thing in a relationship?
Respect and communication. I know, again it sounds like a cliche, but it is so true. Trust is big too. And whatever happens, no name calling. Well, ok, sweetie and honey etc, are allowed. But you know what I mean about name calling.
What turns you off?
Drugs. Don't do them, and I prefer not being around those who do.
What turns you on?
Humor is big. Just being able to talk to each other, being affectionate, being silly, being serious at times, and living life one day at a time--but with an eye toward the future also. Intellectual conversations about anything, life, politics etc. And then being goofy too at times. Being romantic, being passionate, being spontaneous.
