Realising that a relationship is a constant and that both people need to constantly work toward achieving a level of contentment within the relationship.Open communication and respect and compromise for each other is of the utmost importance. Acceptance that a relationship is about being flexible and understanding the other persons needs as well as meeting your own needs. It is about being able to achieve a harmonious outcome for everyone.
