Looking for friendships possibly more

I am creative, independent but would like to meet that special someone who is my best friend. We should enjoy doing the same things and feel that we are made for each other. I think that gets harder to find as we get older, but I remain optimistic in my search. I am looking for a mature gentleman who is somewhat of an intellectual type. This person would enjoy the arts and has stayed current with modern technology. He should be successful or if retired comfortable and able to make room in his life for another person. We should also have an attraction physically to one another. Are you funny and have a zest for life? All the better for these are qualities I admire in a man. I am a mix of a modern woman , but am also traditional in many ways. I enjoy cooking (but not every night) and family is very important to me. I watch a lot of British and foreign films but don't care as much for mainstream television. If you are a sports fanatic please pass me by because I can't sit still through a game like football or basketball and there must be some men out there that like to do other things. I would hope that if we hit it off your family would welcome me into your life and be accepting of our relationship. I have three children two of which live in different states, and one who lives near Greensboro. I have one grandchild in the area and two more that live in other areas. I am looking for someone that I can trust to be faithful, and have a great love together.
