My Yiayia's Dream
Hi; I was born in Athens, and have lived half of my life in various countries in Europe. I've had the opportunity to live in several states, including Alaska, but I have set my roots in California. I can converse in four languages, enjoy fine dining, weekend get-a-ways, cultural events, and the outdoors. I have an outgoing personality, a great sense of humor, am passionate, romantic, open, and place great value in family and integrity. My Yiayia always wanted me to marry a "Greek Girl", and I happened upon this website, so I thought I would give it a try. She was a kind sweet and dear lady that played a major role in developing my persona. I was fortunate to have been raised to enjoy the best of both worlds - some Old Fashioned values mixed with a contemporary flair. I subscribe to the values of chivalry and feel it's important to let that someone know how special they are to me in the most subtle or outright ways that I can imagine. I am a die-hard romantic who has a zest for life, an outgoing personality, and a great sense of humor. My friends would say the I am confidant, witty, intelligent, and dedicated. There are five characteristics most important to me that I seek in a partner - Courage, Love, Friendship, Compassion, and Empathy. I think it's important we have have Courage to face any challenge, to remain commited to the end. It's important to be able to give Love, receive love, and share love with others. Through Friendship we establish the fundamental bonds that are the foundation of love, allowing us to truly know each other, who we are and what we are about. With Compassion we provide the support that we all need at one point or another, without prejudice. And Empathy is the understanding, the caring, and the sharing of feelings that ultimately tie us together.
