My Orthodox faith is very important to me. I’m looking to meet the same in a partner to share life and faith, and who knows that following Christ also means remembering to get back up when you fall. I follow the beat of my own drum, have 2 adult sons in college (they don’t live at home), and am drawn to down-to-earth, humble people. I was a univ professor for 17 yrs in structural engineering. I now run my own structural composites business. I enjoy road trips, DIY projects, working out, movies, hiking, learning about other cultures, and traveling; I try to visit Greece every 1-2 years. I’m looking to meet someone with good energy, who is intelligent, yet humble & patient. Someone with good communication skills and who remains open-minded in stressful situations. Someone who knows that her need to be listened to is equally as important as her partner’s desire to be heard. Someone who is comfortable spending a day at home or taking a spontaneous road trip. Biggest turnoffs are arrogance, ignorance, and self-righteousness. No one is better than anyone else; and no one should act like they are. The power of prayer is incredibly real — it is the pathway to inviting Christ into our hearts so that we may have peace.
