The Halkidiki region stretches along the northern coast of mainland Greece, with its white, sandy beaches and crystal clear water, its unspoiled beauty alone is enough reason to pack your bags for a vacation. The best time of the year to travel is just as the temperature starts rising to twenty degrees Celsius during the spring, but if you prefer the hotter weather, then July through September is a great time.
